A rural classroom attempts digital first contact
A classroom full of excited students gathers around a beige computer, a rotary phone and an acoustic coupler. They listen for the carrier tone as though launching a moon mission. Did they reach California? Hard to tell. The modem certainly reached everyone's ears.
A fictionalized Adventures in Technology comic, inspired by technology experiences and embellished for humour.
