An airport hangar hosts internet workers, weather personnel and an understanding about being good neighbours.

At an airport hangar, John's XpressNet internet operation shared office space with people working on Alberta weather-related activities. The internet people dealt with routers, cables and connectivity. The other occupants had their own technical work and equipment.

An aircraft-painting operation was also in the back of the hangar. It was an unusually diverse group of neighbours, but everyone had reasons to be there.

John summed up the understanding perfectly: “They didn't ask us questions, we didn't ask them questions, everyone had free internets. All good.”

And that is where the story stays. It is about sharing workspace and maintaining friendly boundaries—not about what the weather organization was doing, or any hidden activities.

Our cartoon gives everybody coffee mugs, absurdly cheerful checklists and a hangar full of cables. Its comedy is in the quiet agreement to get along.

Different work. Same building. Free internet. No questions.

Sometimes the most reliable protocol is simply being good neighbours.
